Enable ‘GodMode’ in Windows 7
Probably originally intended as a shortcut for developers, Windows 7 provides a way for users to enable a so-called ‘GodMode’. Despite its grandiose name, it’s simply a feature that lets users to access all Control Panel options in a single window.
Just follow these steps:
- Create a new folder anywhere you want
- Name the new folder as “Whatevername.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}”
Open the new folder and you’ll see the usual Control Panel window, only this one has its option tree fully expanded. Quite handy if you’re setting up a new Windows 7 installation. You can of course rename the ‘Whatevername’ part of the folder name to anything.
